About the Role

The Team Manager at Emergence serves as the creative director, holding the final responsibility for projects and team dynamics. You embody the vision of Emergence, ensuring all team actions align with the Emergence mission. The manager maintains communication with the broader ART-Tech context and represents the team externally, presenting projects in the best light. You oversee both short and long-term project aspects to ensure the team stays on track.
Additionally, the Team Manager is tasked with nurturing each team member's growth and optimizing overall team performance. Your primary focus is on fostering motivation and facilitating effective collaboration among team members, requiring strong people management and problem-solving abilities.

What does this role entail?

  • Guide the team's creative vision and strategic approach to projects, ensuring they reflect Emergence's philosophy

  • Provide guidance and support to team members in their personal and professional growth, creating an environment where individuals can thrive and develop their skills.

  • Final responsibilty of project outcomes and the team's overall performance.

  • Ensure that team efforts are aligned with Emergence's goals.

  • Stay informed about the art & tech context and other relevant fields to the team's work,

  • Serve as the bridge between the team and other parties, representing the team's interests and presenting its work to the outside world.

  • Effectively manage general project timelines and goals, overseeing tasks and ensuring that deadlines are met.

  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork among team members, promoting a culture of mutual support and cooperation.

  • Working closely with Emergence Foundation on the short-term and long-term goals.
